As successful designers in countries all over the world, sensitivity to varying cultural contexts is vital.   Before pen touches paper, we immerse ourselves in the unique cultural climate of each project, as a prerequiste to design, just as thoughtfully as we do with its actual environmental setting.

Historic precedent, ancient methods of building, traditional materials, and symbolic building forms, are all considered during the pre-design phases of our award-winning process.

The resulting design solutions, infused with multiple layers of meaning and symbolism, have yielded the most enduring and appropriate architectural responses from Native American Tribal Nations, to Shanghai China, to Dubai in the UAE.
